CoCo Bonanza Cookies

Coco Bonanzas

Ingredients
Flour= 3 cups
Baking Powder= 1/4 tsp
Salt= dash
White Sugar= 1 cup
Brown Sugar= 1 cup
Eggs= 3 lg
Butter or Margarine= 1 cup softened
Lemon Flavor= 1/2 tsp
Coco Powder= 1 tblsp
Chocolate Chips= 1 bag semisweet
Shredded Coconut= 1 lb

Instructions
           First you'll need an ungreased cookie sheet. Second don't bother to preheat the oven, I usually  let cookie dough sit in the fridge for at least an hour before baking.
In a medium sized bowl sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Now in a larger bowl pour both sugars and the butter. Add your eggs one at a time and then blend on a low speed until creamy (there's nothing wrong with using a spoon to do this either).
Mix in the flavor and then add half of the flour. Follow with the second half  mixing until all the flour is dissolved. Now add the coco powder and mix. Finally pour in the coconut and chocolate chips and make sure everything is well blended and sit your bowl in the refrigerator. You don't have to do this, I just find it easier to work with cold dough.
Give your oven about 10 minuets to heat up at 350 before baking.
Place table spoon sized balls of dough on the cookie sheet, do not flatten. Bake for 20 minuets.
This particular recipe will make at least 3 dozen cookies. Depending on the size of your dough balls.
